York Easter Family Festival - Free family show

FREE FAMILY FUN IN YORK THIS EASTER WITH LITTLE VIKINGS!

Roll up, roll up! The York Easter Family Festival is back, making York city centre the place to be for families throughout the Easter bank holiday weekend.

Head to Parliament Street from Thursday 29th March to Monday 2nd April where you’ll find the Little Vikings tent playing host to a brand new Easter show for children. We’re welcoming all families to join us in The Hunt for the Magical Chocolatey Chick, an interactive performance that will take audience members on a virtual hunt around York.

With the generous support of the York BID and Visit York, it’s free for everyone and we’d love you to join us. The show will run five times a day, at 11 am, 12 noon, 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm.

While you’re there, why not pick up a trail map and head off on the Great York Bunny Search? Search for posters in shop windows as part of a competition to win a family holiday for four to Disneyland Europe. Entries can be dropped into the Visit York Information Centre at 1 Museum Street, where there’ll be a chocolatey treat while stocks last! The York Chocolate Festival will also run throughout the weekend, and there’ll be fairground rides in St Sampson’s Square, too.
