Session times:
11am – 1pm
2pm – 4pm

£5 per child, per 2 hours. Accompanying adults free.
Tickets need to be booked in advance.

Calling all Rainbows, Beavers, Brownies and Cubs!

Come to the Museum and take part in a series of activities that will help you achieve some of the requirements for your science and art badges. Activities will run up in the Great Hall and access to the main museum is free if you would like to spend all day here and explore the galleries before or after taking part in the activities.

Some of the activities will include:
– Optical Illusion Animation
– Circus Skills
– Construction with Stephenson Railway Museum
– Printing with the Shipley Art Gallery
– Circuits
– Chromatography
– An archaeology activity with the Recycled Museum
– Street Scientists from Newcastle University
– Activities with the new CHARGE! gallery
– PLAY+INVENT construction
