Newcastle Literary Salon: This Happened in Our Area

Newcastle Literary Salon hosts monthly spoken word nights, with a different theme each month, plus open mic on any topic at all, from the ridiculous to the sublime.

We are open to all and a friendly bunch (the hosts, the readers and the audience) so come along and soak up the literary vibes or join in yourself.

Booked readers have sets of up to 20 minutes each and open mic’ers have slots of up to 5 minutes, simply signed up for on the night.

March’s theme is THIS HAPPENED IN OUR AREA and we are pleased to have special guest Dwane Reads plus sets from Richard Hedley Atkinson and Harry Gallagher. Juli Watson will be your host with the most for the evening (the most what, though?)

Please arrive at 7pm for a 7:30 start
