Neuro Wavy Meetup

Who are we?

We are Timna (32) and Lauren (38). We recently connected after being diagnosed with

ADHD and immediately saw the value in connecting with like-minded (wavy) folk who just

get it.

After seeing the benefit in having this connection between the two of us, we wanted to make

sure everybody had access to a safe space where they could truly be themselves,

something that didn’t seem to exist locally.

We established Neurowavy as a local community for neurodivergent folks and had our first

meet-up at Station South in June 2023. We were pretty blown away by the response to the

first event and are now making it a regular meet-up.

Bertie, who attended our first meet-up, has since joined Team Neurowavy as we begin to

explore possibilities for the future of this community.

What to expect?

Put simply, it’s an opportunity to spend a little time with some like-minded folk in a no-

pressure setting. Super friendly, super informal, super relaxed. No expectations.

Please feel very welcome to come on your own – you won’t be the only one (but friends are

more than welcome if you’d feel more comfortable that way).

Whether you have been diagnosed or suspect you are neurodivergent (ADHD, ASD, etc.) this

is a safe space for you!

If it’s your first time attending one of our meet-ups, we’ll have some tables reserved so just

look out for our branding. Or feel free to let us know in advance that you’ll be popping down

and we’ll keep an eye out for you.
