Kelham Conservation Days

Kelham Island Museum, Kelham
Island Community Alliance and River
Stewardship Company will be holding
3 volunteer days over autumn/winter
2017 based at Kelham goit (meeting
outside the museum).
We aim to improve the area by taking
care of overgrown vegetation, having
a tidy-up and improving biodiversity
and flood resilience.

Specific focus areas include crack
willow management, weed pulling
(from the channel), litter & debris
removal and other practical
conservation tasks.

Local trendy restaurant Craft &
Dough will generously be supplying
FREE pizza and RSC will provide
enough hot drinks and biscuits to
see you through the day!
