The workshop will cover the key areas to be aware of as an early stage musician. It will look at how artists can build a strong foundation through digital community building, also a look at how to build consistency in your brand and then look at the key metrics (data) to leverage for music and artist growth by utilising your social media.

By the time the session is over you should have a better idea of how to maximise the tools of your social media accounts.

Sizo Hlophe is a cultural producer from Eswatini working predominately with music. In 2012, Sizo co-founded Antidote Music, which became the first music establishment to put music on the internet in Eswatini. Over the years his focus has been to advance the Creative and Cultural Industries in the country. This has been through policy involvement and advocacy. Sizo has also been a mentor for Digital Lab Africa, was selected by the German Commission for UNESCO to be part of Young Experts on Fair Culture and he is also the recipient of the Prince Claus Seed Award.
