Park and Ride locations can be found in six places around the York ring road.  Simply park your car in the huge car parks (free, secure parking) and get on one of the modern buses which are specially adapted for wheelchairs and pushchairs.  The buses depart every 10 minutes too and from York city centre and children travel free when accompanied by an adult.
